Cummins just released Calterm v4.1.1.
This release fixes a few various bugs found in v4.1.0.

Is it possible to update any version of cal term with update manager without wrecking the functionality and or kg license

No, sorry. Each version needs to be activated with a different KG. The problem with 4.1.1 is strong name protection. It will take me longer to get my KG released because of this.
Yes I am aware that each version requires it’s own unlock key, but what i’m saying I have cal term 3.17 that is updated with some fairly new engines, so basically there has to be a way to do that

That's because you have 3.17 with the new product info database included. Unless you actually work at Cummins, you can't use their update manager to activate Calterm. When I make a KG I modify a few dlls so that Calterm looks at my activation method instead of attempting to use it's own default one via LCT.
Although I will say this... If you use my LCT crack, you can then use LCT to activate Calterm. But that's a whole different story altogether.
